Terra/Mara

A ‘Primary Colours’ Artist Residency and Exhibition

This project began with a three month residency in a national school after which I developed my own work for exhibition.

The work was inspired by the story of ‘Giolla Bríd and the Seaweed’ and is a varied collection of paintings, seaweed charcoal and ink drawings, seaweed papers and sculptural pieces.

It explores how creating with natural materials can nurture a sense of reverence towards the living world

Publication to be released soon (see publications page)
